Illustration for The Baffler issue No. 55 accompanying an article by Debra Levine “You Are Witness to a Crime - ACT UP’s legacy and the epidemic dead” 


We were inspired by the powerful NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt where every block is about the size of a grave, so each panel in our illustration has about the same proportions. The Imagery on the panels refer to the article and it says ‘Bury me Fiercely’ a quote by David Wojnarowicz which really resonated with us since it is relevant to the AIDS epidemic and but also in times of covid-19.
